New CEO at MET Germany
Frankfurt am Main - The Swiss MET Group has found a new CEO for its German business. Sven Wolf will take over the position in July. He comes from the building and cleantech service provider Spie. His predecessor Jörg Selbach-Röntgen left the company at the end of 2024.

Industry wants certificates for waste heat
Hamburg - Waste heat is an underutilised resource for industrial companies. Aurubis now sells what is actually a waste product as district heating to Hamburger Energiewerke. This results in CO2 savings that are not yet recognised in emissions trading, explained Aurubis CEO Toralf Haag in an interview.

Regas and Gascade in dispute over connection pipeline
Lubmin - Deutsche Regas is to contribute 10 per cent of the costs for the Baltic Sea Pipeline Link (OAL). The OAL connects the LNG terminal in the port of Mukran near Lubmin to the long-distance pipeline network.
