Construction cost subsidies in the sense of grid utility

Bonn - The calculation of construction cost subsidies has long been criticised, particularly by the battery storage industry. The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) has now published a position paper that is likely to become a topic of discussion. In future, transmission system operators will have to differentiate when calculating construction cost subsidies.

Naturstrom supplies medium-sized company Hörmann with wind power

Düsseldorf/Steinhagen - The green electricity supplier Naturstrom has concluded another power purchase agreement (PPA) with a commercial customer. From January 2025, door and gate manufacturer Hörmann will purchase electricity from a 9.2 MW portfolio from subsidised wind farms operated by the Düsseldorf-based supplier over a period of two years.
