Eon: Billion-euro sale of shareholding in Hungary

Budapest - The exit from the Budapest municipal company Budapesti Közművek, or BKM for short, will bring Eon 1 billion euros. The Essen-based company has sold its stake in the operator of Budapest's street lighting to the city's municipal utility. The latter has officially been the sole owner of BKM since January.

Electricity saving warning in 'Stromgedacht' still without much effect

Stuttgart - On Friday morning, the transmission system operator Transnet BW called on consumers to save electricity. Washing machines and laptops should ideally not be left running between 8 and 11 am. The whole thing was communicated via the 'Stromgedacht' app. However, it had little effect on grid utilisation.

Trade with France soon every quarter of an hour
