Bundestag adopts reform of the debt brake
Berlin - After hours of debate, the outgoing Bundestag has adopted the CDU/CSU and SPD financial package. CDU leader Friedrich Merz also justified the future inclusion of the goal of climate neutrality by 2045 in the Basic Law. Others spoke of "unrestrained debt creation" or "war loans with a climate label".
